   Fifth-generation Norwegian/American, grew up on a farm on the Montana high plains, H.S. in the late '50s, B.S. Psychology, Minor History, Army mid-60s, married, B.S. Film & TV, Commercial TV, Public TV, radio station owner, returned to farm, sailed with wife for ten winters, etc.
    Have been writing as an avocation for years, old enough to have been in Robert Pirsig's college English class.
